One of the things that I love about voiceover work is that I get to be more than just a voice.
Many of my clients have become my friends. I’m sold on their business and products. I believe in them. I want them to succeed! And I absolutely love it when the client asks me for my input on the copy or the strategy. Does it get any better than that?!?!?!?
Years ago, back in my college days, one of my majors (I had 5. Don’t ask.) was Marketing and Advertising. Ever since then I’ve been hooked on that. I love being a part of the Marketing and Advertising strategy of a company! I love the creativity of it all. I love being a part of the strategy. What a privilege to be a part of the success of a company’s efforts!
Lately I’ve had a number of opportunities to help clients with their marketing strategies to the Spanish communities. What a fun process that is!!!
In the end though, really all we do as voice talents is add a layer to the marketing strategies of our clients. It’s a great responsibility. It’s a great honor!
